The Code of Conduct at JEF Public School is designed to create a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment. Every student is expected to follow these guidelines to uphold the values of integrity, discipline, and mutual respect.
1. General Behavior
- Always speak politely and respectfully to teachers, staff, and peers.
- Use English as the medium of communication within school premises.
- Be punctual for school, classes, and all activities.
- Maintain cleanliness – do not litter in classrooms, corridors, or grounds.
- Show respect for school property; any damage must be reported and compensated.
- Participate enthusiastically in morning assembly, functions, and co-curricular activities.
2. Uniform & Grooming
- Wear the complete, clean, and ironed school uniform daily, including ID card and black shoes.
- Boys: Neat haircut (no fancy styles or long hair).
- Girls: Hair neatly tied in plaits or ponytail; no colored clips or loose hair.
- Keep nails short and clean; no nail polish or mehendi during school days.
- No jewelry (except small studs for girls), makeup, or accessories.
3. Attendance & Leave
- Regular attendance is compulsory; minimum 75% required for promotion.
- Inform the school in advance for planned leave; submit application signed by parents.
- Medical leave must be supported by a doctor's certificate.
- No student is allowed to leave school premises during school hours without Principal's permission.
4. Academic Integrity
- Complete all homework, projects, and assignments honestly and on time.
- No copying, cheating, or helping others cheat during tests/exams.
- Bring required books, notebooks, and stationery daily.
- Maintain silence and attention during class teaching.
5. Prohibited Actions
- Bullying, teasing, fighting, or use of abusive language is strictly forbidden.
- Mobile phones, cameras, electronic gadgets, or expensive items are not allowed.
- Bringing or consuming tobacco, pan masala, alcohol, or drugs will lead to immediate suspension/expulsion.
- No sharp objects, fireworks, or harmful materials.
- Political or religious discussions that disturb harmony are prohibited.
6. Consequences of Violation
- Minor offenses: Verbal warning, written apology, or detention.
- Repeated/repeated offenses: Parent meeting, suspension, or TC issuance.
- Serious misconduct: Immediate expulsion as per school policy.
